Thrones, ornaments, fine cloth, grain, land, wealth, and houses are brought forth after the rites. Objects that once marked royal possession become offerings in Dasharatha's name.
Bharata gives them to the brahmins until every fitting need and desire is fulfilled. Nothing is hoarded behind the palace walls while the king passes beyond worldly ownership.
The scene reverses coronation. Instead of gathering splendor around a new ruler, Bharata releases splendor outward. Grief opens the treasury, and royal abundance becomes the means by which obligation to father, scripture, and community is completed.
After the king's fire, Bharata sends throne, jewel, grain, earth, and dwelling away as rivers of final honor.

Thrones, ornaments, garments, grain, lands, wealth, and houses: Bharat gave all these to the Brahmins, and their every desire was fulfilled.
