Bharata looks upon the family into which Kaikeyi became a mother: the solar line, Dasharatha as husband, Janaka joined through marriage, and Ram and Lakshmana as sons.
Such a constellation of nobility should have made harm unimaginable. Yet the very one placed within it as mother became the channel through which separation and death entered.
His accusation reaches the limit of human explanation and turns toward providence. Against the movement of fate, what power finally prevails? The verse does not absolve the deed. It exposes the bewilderment of seeing darkness arise in the center of a house formed from so much light.
Bharata names every radiant bond around Kaikeyi, then stands bewildered before the fate that turned motherhood against its own house.

हंसबंसु दसरथु जनकु राम लखन से भाइ। जननी तूँ जननी भई बिधि सन कछु न बसाइ।।161।।
The Solar Dynasty, Dasharatha as father, Janaka as father-in-law, Rama and Lakshmana as brothers. O Mother, you indeed became their mother, yet against the will of Providence, nothing can prevail.
