Ram sits within the forest dwelling with Sita and Lakshmana beside him. Woven leaves and grass form the walls, yet nothing in the scene feels deprived.
They shine like Indra in the immortal city with Shachi and Jayanta. The comparison brings celestial courtliness into a hut without changing a single material around them.
Sovereignty belongs to presence before architecture. Chitrakoot needs no jeweled tower to hold a divine household, and the exiles need no visible throne to reveal their order. In their companionship, the modest shelter assumes the spacious dignity of heaven.
Sita and Lakshmana sit beside Ram, and a hut of leaves quietly acquires the radiance of the immortal city.

रामु लखन सीता सहित सोहत परन निकेत। जिमि बासव बस अमरपुर सची जयंत समेत।।141।।
Rama with Lakshmana and Sita shone in the forest hermitage like Indra in Amarapuri with Shachi and Jayanta at his side.
