The lotus eyed Lord beholds the pure, beautiful hermitage and rejoices. Its quiet order, flowering water, and fearless creatures welcome him before any human word is spoken.
News reaches Valmiki that Raghuvar has arrived. The sage does not remain seated within his dwelling and wait for the guest to approach. He comes forward eagerly along the ashram path.
Joy moves from both directions: Ram delights in the sanctuary, and the sanctuary's seer hastens to meet Ram. Their approach joins pilgrim and host before the gathered hermitage, each honoring the presence of the other through the simple act of coming near.
Ram enters rejoicing and Valmiki comes out in eagerness, until guest and sage meet within the ashram's peace.
