Joy overflows the village women. They fall at Sita's feet with an affection that has forgotten every boundary between stranger and kin, and blessings rise from many voices around her.

May she remain forever united with her beloved, adorned with the unbroken auspiciousness of marriage. Their wish reaches beyond an ordinary lifetime to the age of the earth itself, for as long as the world rests upon the serpent's hood.

The women possess no palace gift to place before the princess. They offer the immense currency of a wholehearted blessing. On a shaded roadside, their simple words stretch across cosmic time, sheltering the marriage they have only now discovered through Sita's glance.

At Sita's feet, village affection becomes a blessing vast enough to endure as long as the earth is borne.

With overflowing love, the women fell at Sita's feet and blessed her in many ways. May you remain ever the beloved and wedded one, for as long as the earth rests upon the serpent's hood.
