Clouds gather above the travellers and spread a moving shade across the path. From the unseen heights, gods release flowers and gaze with longing upon the forest journey below.

Ram proceeds without turning the road into spectacle. Mountains rise, woods deepen, birds cross the air, and deer appear among the trees. His attention receives the living country through which exile carries him.

He walks beneath two forms of witness: heaven looking down in wonder and the wilderness meeting him at eye level. Blossoms fall from above while hoofprints, wings, branches, and distant slopes fill the earthward view. The Lord passes through both realms with the same quiet presence.

Beneath cloud shade and falling flowers, Ram watches birds and deer as heaven watches him.

Read the passage from the Manas

छाँह करहि घन बिबुधगन बरषहि सुमन सिहाहिं। देखत गिरि बन बिहग मृग रामु चले मग जाहिं।।113।।

Clouds offer shade, the devas shower blossoms and gaze with longing. Beholding mountains, forests, birds and deer along the way, Rama walks onward upon the path.
