After the joy of recognition, Ram gives his devoted friend many forms of counsel. Affection does not erase direction. The meeting must ripen into an obedience capable of continuing after physical nearness ends.
The friend receives Ram's command upon his head. Whatever desire drew him to the road has been answered by sight, touch, blessing, and instruction. He can return without treating departure as loss.
His steps turn toward home while Ram's company continues onward. Devotion learns a quieter form: carrying the Lord's word into the place where one has been sent. The embrace remains inwardly present, not as a reason to resist duty but as the strength by which duty becomes sweet.
Having found Ram, the friend proves the meeting complete by bowing to the command that sends him home.

तब रघुबीर अनेक बिधि सखहि सिखावनु दीन्ह। राम रजायसु सीस धरि भवन गवनु तेंइँ कीन्ह।।111।।
Then Raghubir instructed His dear friend in many loving ways. Receiving Rama's command upon his head, the friend departed for home.
