Ram rests through the night at the hermitage. Dawn opens over Prayag, and he enters the sacred water before the next stage of the forest road begins.
Sita and Lakshmana stand ready, joined by the faithful companions who travel with them. The peace of Bharadvaja's welcome remains around the small company, but pilgrimage cannot become possession. Blessing must be carried onward.
Before departing, Ram bows his head to the sage. The gesture closes the night with the same reverence that welcomed it. Then the travellers set forth joyfully, leaving the confluence behind while its currents, teachings, and embraces continue within their journey.
After bathing at first light, Ram bows to Bharadvaja and carries Prayag's blessing into the widening forest.

Rama rested through the night, then bathed at Prayag at dawn. With Sita, Lakshman, and his faithful servants, he set forth in joy, bowing his head to the muni.
