Bharadvaja names the wholeness for which he prays. Deed, speech, and mind must belong to Ram together, with deceit and hidden reservation laid aside. Devotion cannot remain one gesture among many while the inward life serves another master.
Until such surrender ripens, even ten million remedies cannot give happiness, not even the fragile happiness encountered in a dream. Quantity of practice cannot mend division at the center.
The teaching turns attention from accumulation to truthfulness. One may gather rites, disciplines, explanations, and consolations without becoming simple before the Lord. When action, word, and thought flow in one direction, the search for further cures grows quiet because the heart has ceased withholding itself.
Happiness begins where the divided heart ends and deed, speech, and thought become one unguarded offering to Ram.

करम बचन मन छाड़ि छलु जब लगि जनु न तुम्हार। तब लगि सुखु सपनेहुँ नहीं किएँ कोटि उपचार।।
'So long as one is not Yours in deed, word, and mind, casting aside all guile, so long there is no happiness even in dreams, though one try ten million remedies.'
