Lakshmana bows at Sumitra's feet and departs immediately. Permission has released the fear that held him between mother and Lord.
His heart trembles as he moves like a deer that fate has suddenly freed from a cruel snare. Every stride carries relief toward Ram.
The comparison reveals what remaining in Ayodhya would have meant to him. Palace duty, however honourable, had become a net when it separated him from service. The road ahead suddenly seems merciful. Sumitra's blessing does not merely allow travel; it restores the natural movement of his whole being.
With Sumitra's blessing behind him, Lakshmana runs toward Ram like a deer suddenly freed into open forest.

Bowing his head at his mother's feet, he departed at once, his heart trembling with emotion, like a deer who, by the force of destiny, breaks free from a cruel snare and runs.
