Kausalya names the splendour surrounding Sita. Her father Janaka is the crown jewel among kings, and Dasharatha, her father in law, shines like the sun of the solar dynasty.
Her husband is the moon opening the lotus garden of that same line, a treasury of virtue and beauty beyond measure.
The doha frames Sita within noble houses and radiant relationships, yet none can decide her path for her. Daughter of Videha, bride of Ayodhya, beloved of Ram, she sits at the point where inherited honour must become personal fidelity. The forest waits beyond every royal image.
