Let the moon rain sparks of fire. Let nectar become indistinguishable from poison. Let the natural order overturn itself beyond recognition.
Even then, Bharata will not act against Ram, not waking and not in dream. The brothers' love is more certain than the patterns by which the world is known.
The doha gives devotion the force of an impossibility test. Cosmic contradiction is easier to imagine than treachery within Bharata's heart. Before he has returned to answer the crisis, the poem protects him from the shadow cast by a crown requested in his name.
The moon may burn and nectar may poison, but Bharata's heart cannot turn against Ram.

चंदु चवै बरु अनल कन सुधा होइ बिषतूल। सपनेहुँ कबहुँ न करहिं किछु भरतु राम प्रतिकूल।।48।।
Let the moon rain down sparks of fire, let nectar become equal to poison; but even in a dream, never, never will Bharat do anything against Rama.
