The Gods Ask Saraswati to Turn Ram toward the Forest

The gods lay their distress before Saraswati. Their unfinished work requires Ram to renounce the throne and enter the forest, where the purpose of his incarnation can unfold.
They ask the mother of speech to act that very day. The request seeks cosmic good through the breaking of Ayodhya's immediate joy.
The doha holds no easy moral comfort. Divine beings kneel before the goddess and ask her to become the instrument of exile. Beyond the palace's knowledge, crown and forest stand joined within a design whose mercy is not yet visible to those who must suffer it.
While coronation vessels shine below, the gods ask speech itself to open the road into exile.

बिपति हमारि बिलोकि बड़ि मातु करिअ सोइ आजु। रामु जाहिं बन राजु तजि होइ सकल सुरकाजु।।11।।
"O Mother, behold our great distress and act this very day. Let Rama renounce the throne and depart for the forest; only then will all the work of the gods be accomplished." (Doha 11)
