Vasishtha hears words saturated with love and praises Raghubara. Such humility could come from no one else, for Ram is the crown jewel of the solar dynasty.
The praise holds a luminous reversal. The one about to receive the crown is already the jewel that gives the lineage its splendour, yet he speaks only of obedience and service.
Ram's fitness to rule appears not through command but through the natural lowering of self before wisdom. The guru recognizes royal greatness precisely where Ram refuses to claim it. Ayodhya's future sovereign stands revealed in the sweetness with which he receives another's authority.
The guru sees the solar dynasty's brightest jewel shining through Ram's effortless humility.
Read the passage from the Manas
सुनि सनेह साने बचन मुनि रघुबरहि प्रसंस। राम कस न तुम्ह कहहु अस हंस बंस अवतंस।।9।।
Hearing these words steeped in love, the sage praised Raghubara: "Rama, how could you not speak this way? You are the crown-jewel of the Solar Dynasty."
