The forest rises in a mother's imagination filled with elephants, lions, demons, and creatures of danger. Its vastness is measured against Ram's beautiful tenderness.
The verse calls him Sanjeevani, the life restoring herb, and asks whether such sacred delicacy can flourish within a garden of poison.
Love perceives the beloved as both power to revive the world and vulnerable shoot needing protection. The paradox cannot be solved from the palace. Ram belongs to the forest purpose awaiting him, yet those who cherish him see only harsh ground closing around living grace.
To those who love him, Ram is life restoring Sanjeevani being carried into a wilderness of poison.

जेहि भाँति सोकु कलंकु जाइ उपाय करि कुल पालही। हठि फेरु रामहि जात बन जनि बात दूसरि चालही।। जिमि भानु बिनु दिनु प्रान बिनु तनु चंद बिनु जिमि जामिनी। तिमि अवध तुलसीदास प्रभु बिनु समुझि धौं जियँ भामिनी।।
Elephants, lions, demons, and many evil creatures roam the forest. Can the beautiful Sanjeevani herb, dear son, flourish in a garden of poison?
