Since Ram returned from his wedding, each day brings a new celebration. Clouds formed from accumulated merit rain bliss over the fourteen worlds, and rivers of prosperity and spiritual power pour toward Ayodhya.

Men and women shine like clusters of priceless gems. Brahma seems to have spent his full creative treasury upon this one city, where every face is happy beneath the sight of Ram's moon like countenance.

Mothers, friends, and companions behold the vine of their longing heavy with fruit. Dasharatha hears of Ram's beauty, character, and gentleness, and immense joy fills him. The city's outer abundance gathers around an inward source: the presence of one beloved son whose virtue makes every household flourish.

All Ayodhya becomes an ocean fed by the rivers of joy flowing from Ram's presence.

Read the passage from the Manas

Ever since Rama returned home after his wedding, new celebrations and joy arose daily. Like mighty clouds of merit raining blissful waters upon the fourteen worlds and their great mountains. Prosperity, spiritual powers, and wealth flowed like lovely rivers, swelling and pouring into the ocean of Ayodhya. The men and women of the city were like clusters of precious gems, pure, priceless, and beautiful in every way. The splendor of the city cannot be captured in words; it seemed as if Brahma had spent all his creative power here alone. All the people of the city were happy in every way, gazing upon the moon-like face of Ramachandra. All the mothers, friends, and companions were delighted, seeing the vine of their heart's desires bearing fruit at last. Seeing and hearing of Rama's beauty, noble character, and gentle nature, King Dasharatha was filled with immense joy.
