Narada offers prayers in many forms before the Lord. Song has become praise, praise has become petition, and every word moves toward the one seated with Lakshmana beneath the trees of Pampa.
The sage watches Rama's response and recognizes that the Lord is pleased within his heart. The moment for asking has arrived, not because devotion has forced a door, but because grace has made welcome visible.
Narada brings his hands together like two lotus buds and begins to speak. The veena, the lake, and the listening brothers surround the small gesture in which reverence prepares to make a bold request.

After offering prayers in countless ways and sensing the Prabhu's gracious pleasure, Narada spoke these words with reverence, joining his lotus-like hands in devotion.
