Rama Rests Forever in the Lotus Heart of Selfless Worship

Rama brings the teaching into a single inward image. Some make him their only destination and worship without desire through word, action, and mind.
Their disciplines are not divided into sacred hours and ordinary hours. Speech, conduct, and thought turn together toward one refuge, with no concealed bargain asking the Lord to purchase their devotion with another reward.
Within such beings the heart opens as a lotus. Rama does not merely visit it during prayer and withdraw when prayer ends. He rests there always. The sovereign Lord of Maya accepts the devotee's interior as his dwelling, and the path of bhakti reaches fulfillment in the quiet mystery of the worshiped one becoming the permanent guest.
Where word, deed, and thought seek Rama alone, the heart-lotus becomes his place of unending rest.

बचन कर्म मन मोरि गति भजनु करहिं निःकाम।। तिन्ह के हृदय कमल महुँ करउँ सदा बिश्राम।।16।।
Those who worship Me selflessly through word, deed, and mind, making Me alone their refuge: in the lotus of their hearts I rest forever.
