These foreigners seem to be princes who hunt. Dark and fair, bearing bows, arrows, and quivers, they have now come to dwell at Citrakūṭa, friend. (1) Great sages honor them deeply—my husband told me this news. They have settled in the forest with the woman and the brother, enduring severe hardships for their father’s sake, friend. (2) The Kirāta women speak these words to one another, their bodies thrilled and tears flowing from their eyes. Tulsī says they gaze fixedly upon the Lord, as though their eyes had been granted freedom from blinking, friend. (3)
