I gaze toward the bank, but alas, not a single drop of pain-relieving rain falls.
Alas, why has no arrow emerged from the bow of those eyebrows and pierced me?
His speech is a beautiful cloud filled with joy, its play strange and wondrous.
Beloved, sometimes rain it upon me; do not extinguish the longing like a false friend.
Knowing the field of love, repeat the immaculate, rasa-filled syllables of the Couple’s Name.
Take shelter beneath the priceless gem and be illuminated by the Supreme Beloved.
Adorn remembrance gracefully with the pure and essential word received in true company.
Rejoice in stainless attachment, and every worldly episode of Love will disappear.
Go and beg for the graceful happiness of his vision, which steals sorrow and gives joy.
A little dancing will accomplish nothing if one spends an entire lifetime merely describing it.
Sing his virtues, weep, remain awake, and abandon the threefold bondage.
With the heart wholly absorbed, nothing will remain to flee along the road of worldly becoming.
Understand with wisdom the one who is the root and radiant foundation of the entire universe.
Remember that root together with its fundamental mantra and face it directly.
His fresh eyes conquer the khañjana bird and shine without needing cosmetic adornment.
Gazing upon them with love and affection, one sells oneself without asking a price.
The saints have proclaimed the Lord’s supremacy according to their own inward dispositions.
There is no essential division among them; every path contains a happiness-giving truth.
Do only what pleases the Lord; a servant possesses no independence.
Keep no private wish—remain before him, watching for his will.
Lust for a woman is a hard female demon that drinks the blood and consumes everything.
It prevents the discipline of the Name and the nectar of love from entering the heart.
Those new eyes hold waves of severity, poison, joy, grace, and enchantment.
When will they cast a loving glance upon me, O moon-faced Lord?
At once behold lovingly those eyes and the beloved radiance of the earrings.
Yugalananyasharan says: life becomes fixed there, and the body is offered away.
Calamity becomes equal to joy when it is joined to remembrance of the Name.
Shame upon dreamlike pleasure and prosperity if they make one forget Sri Rama.
Skilled Lord, restrain the movements of my mind in beginningless, authentic samādhi.
Sri Yugalananyasharan asks: bring the discipline to fulfilment.
