O Goddess, when will I lovingly wash the channel with abundant sweet waters, gladly sweep the outer chamber, and perfume it each day with masses of the finest fragrant incense?

प्रातः सुधांशुमिलितां मृदमत्र यत्नादाहृत्य वासितपयश्च गृहान्तरे च पादाम्बुजे बत कदा जलधारया ते प्रक्षाल्य भाविनि कचैरिह मार्जयामि

At dawn, when will I carefully bring pale clay blended with moonlight and scented water into the chamber, wash your lotus feet beneath a stream of water, and dry them here with my hair?

प्रक्षाल्य पादकमलं कृतदान्तकाष्ठां स्नानार्थमन्यसदने भवतीं निविष्टाम् अभ्यज्य गन्धिततरैरिह तैलपूरैः प्रोद्वर्तयिष्यति कदा किमु किङ्करीयम्

When will this maidservant wash your lotus feet, seat you in another chamber for bathing after you have cleaned your teeth, anoint you with streams of deeply fragrant oil, and gently massage your limbs?

अयि विमलजलानां गन्धकर्पूरपुष्पैर्जितविधुमुखपद्मे वासितानां घटोघैः प्रणयललितसख्या दीयमानैः पुरस्तात्तव वरमभिषेकं हा कदाहं करिष्ये

पानीयं चीनवस्त्रैः शशिमुखि शनकै रम्यमृद्वङ्गयष्टेर्यत्नादुत्सार्य मोदाद्दिशि दिशि विचलन्नेत्रमीनाञ्चलायाः श्रोणौ रक्तं दुकूलं तदपरमतुलं चारुनीलं शिरोऽग्रात्सर्वाङ्गेषु प्रमोदात्पुलकितवपुषा किं मया ते प्रयोज्यम्

pānīyaṃ cīnavastraiḥ śaśimukhi śanakai ramyamṛdvaṅgayaṣṭeryatnādutsārya modāddiśi diśi vicalannetramīnāñcalāyāḥ śroṇau raktaṃ dukūlaṃ tadaparamatulaṃ cārunīlaṃ śiro'grātsarvāṅgeṣu pramodātpulakitavapuṣā kiṃ mayā te prayojyam

O moon-faced, tender-limbed one, when will I carefully dry the water with fine cloth while your fish-like eyes dart in every direction, then joyfully dress your hips in a red silk and place an incomparable blue cloth over your head and body, my own form thrilled with delight?

प्रक्षाल्य पादकमलं तदनुक्रमेण गोष्ठेन्द्रसूनुदयिते तव केशपाशम् हा नर्मदाग्रथितसुन्दरसूक्ष्ममाल्यैर्वेणीं करिष्यति कदा प्रणयैर्जनोऽयम्

सुभगमृगमदेनाखण्डशुभ्रांशुवत्ते तिलकमिह ललाटे देवि मोदाद्विधाय मसृणघुसृणचर्चामर्पयित्वा च गात्रे स्तनयुगमपि गन्धैश्चित्रितं किं करिष्ये

या ते कञ्चुलिरत्र सुन्दरि मया वक्षोजयोरर्पिता श्यामाच्छादनकाम्यया किल न सासत्येति विज्ञायताम् किन्तु स्वामिनि कृष्ण एव सहसा तत्तामवाप्य स्वयं प्राणेभ्योऽप्यधिकं स्वकं निधियुगं सङ्गोपयत्येव हि

yā te kañculiratra sundari mayā vakṣojayorarpitā śyāmācchādanakāmyayā kila na sāsatyeti vijñāyatām kintu svāmini kṛṣṇa eva sahasā tattāmavāpya svayaṃ prāṇebhyo'pyadhikaṃ svakaṃ nidhiyugaṃ saṅgopayatyeva hi

O beautiful mistress, do not think the bodice I have placed over your breasts truly hides them with dark cloth. Kṛṣṇa himself will suddenly obtain those two treasures, dearer to him than life, and carefully conceal them as his own.
