O Sulky Lady,' Why don’t you go To the little house in the bower? Without you, Even with crores of mistresses, The Prince suffers the pain of sexual longing. His voice choked up. Enduring pangs of separation— agitated. Tears flow from his eyes. Where are you? Where are you? O Daughter of Vṛṣabhānu! He laments impatiently from the grove. His flute has become an arrow: The strands of his garlands, serpents, The cuckoos and parrots, lions. The sandal tree has become poison: The wind, fire. His clothes, thorny creeers. t Śrī Hit Harivaṃśa says. The one whose heart is supremely tender Went swiftly to her Beloved. The one" who is utterly resolute— The Great Warrior in the battle of sexual love— Hearing this, grew frightened.
