Śrī Prema-paratva-prabhā Dohāvalī

What the programme notice establishes

Scan 303 / printed page 276 of Bhuwaneshwar Nath Mishra “Madhav”, Rāma-bhakti-sāhitya meṃ Madhura Upāsanā (1957), visibly heads श्री प्रेम परत्व प्रभा दोहावली. The notice identifies Yugalānanya Śaraṇa “Hemalatā” with the love-themed dohās and Lavakuśa Śaraṇa as their collector. Author and collector are distinct roles.

The same secondary notice reports चर्च मिशन प्रेस (गोरखपुर) and २२वीं नवम्बर सन १९१६ ई०: Church Mission Press, Gorakhpur, 22 November 1916. This reading is settled for the programme notice, but it is not primary-imprint verification because no actual 1916 title leaf or colophon is controlled.

Roles and section boundaries

The list introduced as गुरु-परम्परा continues from scan 303 onto scan 304. It is guru lineage, not a contributor or coauthor list. Jīvārāma “Yugalapriyā”, Yugalānanya Śaraṇa “Hemalatā”, Jānakīvara Śaraṇa “Prītilatā”, Rāmavallabha Śaraṇa “Yugalavihārī”, and Lavakuśa Śaraṇa “Līlābihārī” are preserved only in that lineage context.

Scan 304 later begins Viraha-jvara; its quotations continue through the top of scan 307, before the Aṣṭayāma-bhāvanā heading. These boundaries do not assign every neighbouring quotation to this Dohāvalī. Viraha-jvara remains a separate Chapter Eight identity and is not merged here.

Internet Archive item prem_prabha, Prema-Prabhā by Svāmī Śrī Rāmaharṣaṇa Dāsa, was rejected after title/front matter and terminal-leaf inspection: its title, author, contents, and ending do not match the required Yugalānanya work.

Precise gaps
