फूलों के आज बँगले में युगल सरकार बैठे हैं। किये श्रृंगार फूलों के, क्या छवि शृंगार बैठे हैं॥ हैं प्यारी पदमपद पायल, बनी कलहार की अनुपमा। पियासिर सुमन की कलँगी किये न्योछार बैठे हैं॥ सुभग रंग अरुणा फूलों की लसें सारी सियातन में। पिया धरि विविधि फूलों के कुण्डल गरहार बैठे हैं॥ लसैं कंचुकी गुलाबों की नवल अंग लाड़िलीजू के। जामापटुका प्रसूनों की, पहिरि सुखसार बैठे हैं॥ सजासजि दोउ फूलों से, हैं फूले मंजु फूलों पर। लखैं सब ‘मोद’ लतिका की सुमनाणाधार बैठे हैं॥
Fresh English translation
Today in the flower pavilion the sovereign Couple are seated. They have put on an adornment of flowers—what splendor of adornment they display! At the Beloved Lady’s lotus feet are anklets, and an incomparable flower-necklace has been fashioned. A plume of blossoms rests on her Beloved’s head: there they sit, worthy of every offering. The lovely crimson of the flowers glows across Sia’s sari. Her Beloved wears earrings and a neck-garland made from many kinds of flowers. A rose bodice shines upon every fresh limb of the darling Lady; his robe and sash are blossoms. Wearing them, the treasury of bliss is seated there. Both are dressed entirely in flowers, blossoming upon a lovely bed of flowers. ‘Mod,’ all behold the vine-like Lady’s profusion of floral ornaments as the Couple sit there.
