यद्यपि दंपति परसपर, सदा प्रेम रस लीन। रहे अपनपौं हारि कै, पै पिय अधिक अधीन॥६८॥

Though the couple is always mutually absorbed in love’s rasa and each has surrendered selfhood, the lover remains still more subject to his beloved.
