Those lotus feet dwell forever in the heart-lake of Shiva, the enemy of Love; remembered but once, they purify the mind and drive away every stain of the Kali age. By touching them, the sage’s wife—though steeped in sin—attained liberation; the gods proclaim the nectar of those feet, which Shiva bears upon his head, to be purity’s utmost limit.

Making their minds bees at those feet, sages and yogis attain the goal they cherish; Janak, vessel of supreme good fortune, now washes those very feet, while everyone cries, “Victory! Victory!”

With palms joined beside the bridegroom’s feet, the two family preceptors recite the lineages.
