Gopi-isha, sorely afflicted and terrified by the age of Kali, has come to your gate. Knowing this refugee to have sought refuge, grant shelter—for she belongs to your own parental home. (9)

Friend, how lovely is the turban upon the head of the dark beloved, Raghunandana! Earrings sway at his ears and curls fall over his cheeks, seizing the heart. Seeing the radiance of his face, the moon offers up all its countless reflections. He is the incomparable sovereign of rasa; every comparison in the world is insipid beside him. (10)

A crown set with jewels rests upon his head, and golden earrings ripple at his ears. Against the beauty of the dark cloud of his body, the brilliance of yellow cloth scatters like lightning. A garland of tulsi and precious jewels hangs at his throat; his red face dispels the fear of worldly existence. Manmohan has assumed such a bridegroom's form that he enchants even the mind of Mohana. (11)

Whether you desire me or not, beloved, dwell forever within my heart, day and night. Whether you speak or remain silent, smile or do not smile, embrace me or withhold yourself—do not be displeased; remain there. Do whatever pleases your heart, Lord of Connoisseurs; remain happily absorbed in every delight. Only let my eyes behold you, darling; remain forever fresh and youthful for millions of ages. (12)

His sweet smile, dear friend, exerts its force amid the bridal viewing. This mind will heed no restraint; bewitched by that sweetness, it runs toward him. Ali, draw Sita close as well and let both dwell fully within the bridal viewing. O Creator, hear my prayer: may this beautiful pair live forever. (13)

The lovely dark body delights the mind and has stolen the beauty of the whole world. In just this way, dear friend, the daughter of Videha forcibly steals the hearts of all women. May no deceitful evil eye fall upon the sovereign couple. May Shankara always protect them; may this beautiful pair live forever. (14)
