Pada 133

Sri Raghuvira and Mithilesha’s Darling eat together, surrounded by their companions.

Their lovely arms shine close together; smiling, the youthful forms delight even Ananga.

Sita prepares a morsel and gives it lovingly to her Beloved; he praises its flavor again and again.

The Divine Couple, treasures of rasa, are filled with color and delight; the young companions gaze upon them from every side.

Their reflections flash within the jeweled palace, as though it were a pleasure-ground fashioned for Love.

May they sport eternally in Sri Awadhpur; beholding them, Agra Ali’s longing has borne fruit.

Pada 134

The two eat together, absorbed in laughter and play; waves of rasa, color, and delight pour through every limb.

Touching one another in ever-new ways, they lift morsels, yet cannot bring them to their own mouths.

With the nectar of his own hand, Rama lovingly feeds a morsel to Sita and gazes upon her.

His good fortune swells as he kisses her hand; his heart becomes filled with immense delight.

Songs and instruments rise in fresh waves of melody; the married women are immersed in happiness.

Says Kripanivasa: may I receive that blessed remnant for which even great sages yearn.

Pada 135

The Beloved and his darling eat together, increasing auspiciousness and joy.

They give one another morsels, smiling gently, moon-face toward moon-face.

Vimala serves the many kinds of food, while Kamala waves the fan.

This ocean of beauty cannot be described; such sweetness makes the lovely bower delightful.

Chandrakala brings Sarayu water in her hands and has them rinse after the meal.

Says Ramasakhe: may the Divine Pair remain gracious; may this blessed vision forever endure.
