Sri Radha's Outpourings of Love toward Sri Krishna
[608]
(Raga Rageshwari - Tala Dadra)
I am eternally Your maidservant. Lord of My life and treasure of My existence, I offer Myself wholly to You. Whether You love Me deeply and accept Me with body and mind, or oppose and frighten Me, give Me pain and cast Me away, Your happiness alone is My happiness; I know no other joy. If You become happy through My sorrow, I regard that as incomparable bliss. I accept pleasure only for the sake of Your pleasure; nothing else is in My heart. Night and day, evening and morning, I desire only to see You happy. Only to behold Your happiness do I give comfort to My own body and mind. Surrendering Myself to You, I eternally serve according to Your pleasure. You find delight in truthfully calling Me "Queen of My life," "Queen of My heart" and "beloved." For that reason I accept it all, although My heart feels shy.
[609]
(Raga Bhairavi - Tina Tala)
Hear this humble entreaty of Mine, O Prince of Vraja! Age after age and birth after birth, may You alone be the support of My life. Nandalala, may I remain eternally a female bee drinking the pollen of Your lotus feet. May I cling forever to You like a golden creeper around a young tamala tree. I have become Your maidservant forever by offering My life at Your feet. Bound to those feet by the cord of love, My life has become greatly blessed. I have searched the three worlds: who besides You is Mine? Who else calls out "Radha," and upon whom else has Radha fixed Her gaze?

In this family, that family, both families and Gokula, who is truly My own? Taking exclusive shelter of Your tender, crimson lotus feet, I have fallen silent. Without seeing You, I cannot find peace even for a moment. You alone are eternally the Lord of My life; to whom else can I speak the words of My heart? However much You may reject Me as devoid of beauty, character and virtue, I am the dust of Your feet and shall remain forever attached only to those feet.
[610]
(Raga Paraja - Tina Tala)
Beautiful dark one, lotus-petal-eyed remover of sorrow, youthful Prince of Vraja, may I behold You continually in the temple of My heart, O thief of My consciousness! Crushing every mountain of worldly honor, family prestige and social restraint, may I keep You forever near and never let You be distant even for a blink. Yet I am an utterly rustic cowherd girl, without virtue, disgraced and always ugly, while You are refined, an immense treasury of virtues, the ornament of Your dynasty and beauty embodied. I possess no knowledge of rasa and am devoid of rasa, while You are expert in rasa and the crown of rasikas. Even so, ocean of mercy, You continue to reign within My heart.
[611]
(Tune of Raga Bhairavi - Tina Tala)
I continually wonder, "Treasure of My life, what can I give You?" The treasure I wish to give You is Yourself, for You alone are My wealth. You alone are dearer than life, beloved, and I am forever Yours. At every moment I offer Myself wholly while giving Your own possession back to You. Dear one, how can I knowingly tell You the condition of My heart? Others may have many beloveds, but for Me, beloved, You alone exist. You alone are the one fulfillment of all My disciplines. You alone are the Lord of My life and My eternal prosperity. The bonds of body, wealth and people have broken, and the disease of enjoyment and liberation has departed. Beloved, I have become blessed by obtaining loving union with You alone.

(Raga Jujari - Tala Kaharava)
You alone are My wealth, people and life; You are My body and mind and all My dharma. You alone are the abode of all My happiness, My intimate beloved and the secret of My life. You alone are My sole need, and You alone are its complete fulfillment. At every time and in every way, You alone are the pure and beautiful form worthy of worship. You are all My desires and My abode, My one great goal. Throughout all eight watches, Bhagavan, You dwell in the temple of My mind.* You purify every sense completely by eternally giving the joy of Your touch. Within and without, eternally and without interruption, You keep sounding Your own melody. You are never hidden and never abandon union. Thoroughly mingled with Me, You perform and cause the stainless enjoyment of rasa. Yet in this, no purpose of Mine ever remains separate from You. Every resolve has broken, and the tree of "I" and "mine" has been severed at its root. You are the enjoyer, the enjoyed and everything else; You Yourself have become enjoyment. Becoming My mind and everything within it, You alone experience union and separation.
[613]
(Raga Shivaranjani - Tina Tala)
I have always only received from You, and never grew weary of receiving. I obtained immeasurable good fortune in love, yet could give nothing at all. You never looked upon My failings or faults. You always gave without tiring, until You had given all Your love. Even then You say, "I could give You nothing, O beloved! You alone possess character and virtues like Yours; I offer Myself wholly to You." What can I say to the beloved of My life? Looking toward Myself, I feel ashamed. Youthful son of Nanda, in every deed of Mine You see only love.
* (Alternate reading) Throughout all eight watches, filled with rasa, You make the lake of My mind overflow with rasa.

(Raga Baneshri - Tina Tala)
You are an infinite treasury of the nectar of beauty, and all sweetness is infinite within You. You are an infinite ocean of majesty, and all pure valor is infinite within You. You are an ocean of every divine virtue, surging infinitely in every direction. You are the incomparable treasury of every divine rasa, the perfect rasika and the infinite embodiment of rasa. Since You are immeasurable, limitless and boundless in every virtue and rasa, You have no need whatsoever for any quality or rasa. Yet I am utterly without virtue, fallen in conduct and rustic in every way, devoid of beauty and sweetness, harsh, ugly and an immense repository of faults. I possess nothing by which I might offer You rasa, delight You, worship You or honor You. Only one thing within Me is exclusive, absolute and beyond comparison: "You are eternally dear to Me." This is insignificant, yet supremely great. You were delighted by this alone and accepted Me. You came and gave Yourself to Me without deliberation. Forgetting Your loftiness, divinity and every sovereign right of Your being, You became insignificant to meet insignificant Me and abandoned every reserve. It was as though You were intensely eager to meet Me and utterly impatient. Forgetting all awareness of Your essential nature, You began to shed tears. Restless and filled with unfathomable rasa, You came to the bank of the pure river of rasa and began to immerse Yourself completely, breaking every restraint of composure. The holy river of rasa swelled without limit, overflowed and spread everywhere. Every distinction drowned within it, and no shore or boundary remained. Lover, love and the supreme beloved lost all separate awareness and became overwhelmed. Am I beloved Radha, or are You alone the beloved youthful son of Nanda?

You are the operator and I the instrument; I am a wooden doll and You the puppeteer. Make Me act and speak, and make Me dance according to Your will. Whatever I do, say or dance, I remain eternally dependent, without any pride. The mind is not silent, nor is it separate; I am a witless toy and You the player. How can I deliberate over what I should or should not do? Act forever in complete freedom; whatever makes You happy is the beloved pastime. Speechless, eternally inactive, without movement and forever unchanged, I am Yours to do with unconditionally whenever and however You desire, with no agreement required. What are My life and death, My honor and dishonor? They are all Yours, beloved, and are Your eternal, great and blissful games. You have made Me a toy in Your hand and thereby blessed Me beyond measure. How can I even suppose that I know this? You alone know Your own condition. Even these words that I have spoken: You know where and who I am. You alone have spoken by filling Me with melody; like a mere refrain, I am empty and silent.

Giving Me Your own rasa, You Yourself have made Me intoxicated with rasa. You alone drink the rasa without interruption, remaining eternally thirsty and mad with love. Seeing this astonishing thirst for rasa in the imperceptible One, I am amazed. Bhagavan, how have You forgotten Your own being and divinity? When You behold Me, You become overwhelmed, restless in mind and utterly enchanted. Then supremely pure attachment begins to flow in an unbroken stream. You lose all awareness of Your own body and mind. Everything becomes one and not the slightest obstruction remains. Even so, a fathomless awareness of the beloved's happiness remains. You alone naturally perceive and eternally arrange My happiness. No thought of low or high, atomically small or insignificant, great or exalted ever remains. You become My very form, and I become You made manifest.

Nothing here, there or anywhere is Mine; only You are Mine. My mind, senses, body, wealth and life are only You. Every other attachment and the pure object of My possessive love are only You. I belong exclusively to Him alone, and He alone is Mine. No one remains whom I might behold, or who might behold Me. Every kind of relationship between Me and the moving and unmoving world has broken. Nothing remains through which any bond of possessiveness might arise for Me. He knows every small and great matter in My heart. My union with Him and His union with Me remain eternal. He eternally dwells within Me, and I eternally dwell only within Him. He alone is the life of My life and every breath I take. I am never separate from Him, nor is He ever separate from Me. I am eternally His beloved, and He alone is eternally My beloved.

Best of rasikas, continue drinking this rasa without interruption, then keep filling My heart with ever-new rasa. Natavara, may I eternally make You drink the sweetest rasa, and, embodiment of rasa, may You make Me drink Your own rasa throughout My life. May We remain forever mutually engaged in giving and drinking rasa. Abode of rasa, through endless time may there be no pause even for a moment. May enchanting, ever-new pastimes be created eternally. May satisfaction never arise even slightly, and may thirst continually increase. As beloved and lover, may We eternally perform the pure rasa dance, a mine of rasa. May the excellent ocean of supremely sweet nectarean rasa surge forever.

Syama, I shall hide You within My eyes. Binding Your feet with the cord of love, I shall bring You into My heart. I shall never allow anyone to behold My supremely lovely treasure, yet may He remain continually visible to My own eyes. Never have I seen or known anyone else within My mind. Naturally surrendering everything in full, I have become blessed in every way. While seeing, hearing, eating, drinking and conducting every worldly activity, whether awake or asleep, only Your remembrance remains eternally essential. Body and mind, wealth and people, life and youth, possessiveness, pride and conceit, every living being, object and circumstance are You, O life of My life. I cannot endure Your disappearance for even a blink; My consciousness becomes restless and impatient. My life then seeks to leave the body as dreadful pain increases. I am an exceedingly lowly, impure and helpless woman, devoid of beauty and virtue. Murari, never neglect Me; look toward Your own possession. Dwell forever within My life and care for Me eternally. Knowing Me as the maidservant of Your feet, cherish Me forever.
[623]
(Raga Gauri - Tala Kaharava)
Wise one, You remain eternally dissolved and mingled with Me, never separate. You find immensely sweet happiness in remaining forever near Me. I too experience an extraordinary happiness, a treasury of honeyed rasa. It is a unique object of experience that I cannot describe. Eternally united only with You, I perform all the body's activities, doing what is proper wherever appropriate, yet remaining unattached and without desire. Making You drink rasa and drinking it Myself, I continually behold Your delightful moon-face. Becoming Your exquisite form, I remain supremely joyful and happy in every condition.

I desire nothing from You and retain not the slightest hope for personal happiness. I have no concern for this world, the next world or their destruction, nor the least false hope. Wherever You remain and wherever I remain, it makes not the slightest difference. I am within You and You within Me; this experience remains unbroken. But if You do not desire it, send Me far away. Never allow Me to come, even if afterward You call Me every day. Nowhere do I have the slightest concern with anything at all. You are Mine, You are Mine: this alone is now My firm and unmoving certainty. Enchanting beloved, You can no longer escape from Me. You have become bound by Your own natural disposition, and this heavy knot has dissolved.
[625]
(Lavani Tune - Tala Kaharava)
I see and hear everything fit to be seen and heard, yet I remain forever joined with You. You alone are the enjoyer and everything enjoyed. All My seeing and hearing are naturally renounced into You. Making Me Your instrument, You keep Me eternally engaged in the pastime of service. Hearing, speaking, seeing and acting continue tirelessly, yet You never allow them to make Me weary or overwhelmed. You perform all these varied pastimes, making insignificant Me their support. Through Your own eternal, divine strength, art and power, You expand the pastimes. My complete attachment has come to dwell at Your holy feet. Attachment to enjoyment has vanished, and My life is devoted only to You. You do not allow Me to abandon possessiveness, nor do You ever abandon Me. You alone remain the immeasurable object of My possessive love. Only this bond of possessive love now inspires every action. I am bound within it, and You too have accepted this bond.

Even so, We both experience union with and separation from one another. Meeting gives supremely inconceivable happiness, while nonmeeting brings the union of supreme sorrow. The longing to meet increases every moment and moves eternally toward infinity. The pure ocean of rasa begins to flow, naturally abandoning boundary and shore.

You are Mine and I am eternally Yours; You are I and I am You, united yet apart. Who knows since when I became You and You became Me, performing these pastimes? When separation occurs and an intense desire to meet awakens, even a moment of nonmeeting becomes unbearable and fire begins to blaze in the heart. As a maddened river of rasa, overwhelmed and restless, I flow toward You. You too, as the ocean of rasa, abandon Your shore and surge forward to merge Me within Yourself. To savor pastime-rasa, You and I become separation and union. Assuming many forms of rasa as lover and beloved, We enjoy ever-new unions. Yet I am not the woman, nor are You the man; We are one supreme conscious reality of rasa. As the shelter and object of love, We remain supremely sweet, beautiful and eternally pure being.

I know very well that not the slightest beauty exists within Me. Ugliness fills every limb; this is an especially certain truth. I also know very well that not a single virtue exists anywhere within Me. My entire life is full of faults, and ignorance has spread everywhere. It is likewise true that not the slightest genuine love exists within Me. The impulse to seek My own happiness remains, always desiring acquisition and preservation. It is also true that no renunciation is visible anywhere within Me. Even what I call detachment contains hidden attachment. Why then does My beloved love Me so greatly? The sole reason is His naturally generous disposition. When someone is utterly possessionless and considered insignificant and worthless, He immediately accepts and loves that person and thereby makes them blessed. I am exceedingly impure, unfit in every way and forever without any other shelter, devoid of virtue, purity and beauty, utterly without rasa or possessions and wretched in every way. Yet one mistaken thought remains in this heart and never departs: I belong eternally to Syama alone, and Syama is always favorable to Me. For this reason Bhagavan, compelled by His own nature, remains delighted with Me. His eternally unique way of becoming delighted establishes love.

(Raga Bahara - Tala Kaharava)
Your beauty is incomparable and Your form unique beyond all others. You are the form of immeasurable supreme majesty, with limitless and incomparable reality and greatness. You have nothing to attain and no duty remains for You. Forever satisfied within Your own glory, You possess not the slightest dissatisfaction anywhere. You alone are the Self of every living being, and all direct their love toward You. You alone are everyone's sole shelter; this is the eternal law. Why then are You so deeply attached to insignificant and wretched Me? Why do You forget Your own glory and become so devoted to impure Me? I am eternally full of faults and possess no faultless virtue. Why are You delighted with Me and unable to see any defect?
[640]
(Raga Todi - Tritala)
I am exceedingly lowly, My understanding is impure and My heart overflows with evil thoughts. Naturally ugly within and without, I am eternally impoverished in every way. I possess no beauty, virtue, object or inner mood in any way worthy of You. Filled with impurities, I am unfit even to touch the holy dust of Your feet. I do not know how You became delighted with Me or how You can love Me. Perhaps it is Your complete innocence, or perhaps a supremely extraordinary way of Yours. I become ashamed and hesitant when You forget Your own virtues and glory, break the banks of restraint and call Me "beloved" and "Queen of My life." You press Me to Your heart and perform eternally wondrous and incomparable pastimes. Though Yourself the embodiment of bliss, You experience inconceivable and infinite delight. Naturally generous by Your very disposition, You give Me limitless supreme happiness, while selfish Me remains submerged in an ever-increasing, boundless thirst for happiness.

(Raga Tailanga - Tina Tala)
I possess no power or capacity, no qualification and no offering. I possess no inner feeling or renunciation; selfishness fills this wretched life. Body and mind are impure, without charm or grace, and nowhere is there a trace of beauty. How and what could I give You? I am utterly lowly and destitute, while You are Lord of all. I have no implement of service, nor any eagerness within the heart. Even so, You accept it as service; Your mood is supremely astonishing. You never tire of describing My virtues and honor Me repeatedly. Bhagavan, filled with the six majesties, You repeatedly become indebted. It is as though all Your affairs proceed only through My service, and without accepting service from Me You cannot rest even for a blink. You possess some pure and inconceivable attachment to Me. Because of it, You regard every deed of Mine as fortunate service. Seeing Your holy, incomparable and unique humility of character, I cannot understand how to make You recognize what I truly am. On one side stands insignificant Me, eternally devoid of service, rustic and utterly small. On the other stands extraordinary, great You with this immeasurable love for Me. For this reason I remain hidden and dwell forever in secrecy, laboring continually to conceal Myself and every gesture. Yet if I ever happen to appear before You, treasury of love, how strangely You begin to act, as if oppressed by an immense burden of debt. I sink into the ground from shame and My heart fills with hesitation, seeing Your immense generosity and My own wretched condition. Then, infinite one, somehow You blow a mantra into My ear, or heart. At once I become mad with love, lose independence and become Your instrument.

Not a single virtue exists within Me, nor the slightest trace of love. My heart overflows with countless faults, devoid of rasa and deeply polluted. I have always received ever-new, incomparable and boundless happiness from You, yet could never give You even a particle of happiness for a moment, supremely generous one. I have always wept from this sorrow and shall weep forever, Syama. Yet upon seeing Your moon-face become sad, I shall forcibly restrain My tears. I desire to see You happy, Your face eternally radiant, the essence of joy. Therefore even while weeping from sorrow, I accept every happiness.

I am certainly an offender, sinner and disgraced woman in every way. Yet I refuse to leave the soles of Your feet even for a moment. Reject, scold and cast Me aside, frighten Me and treat Me harshly. I shall remain lying there and not move even a grain's breadth from the doorway of Your feet. Treat Me exceedingly harshly or give Me all the love Your heart desires, but, Master, never tell Me to go away. I have no shame, fear, hesitation or natural confusion, and no concern for this world or the next. I do not fear praise or blame in the least, whatever the world may say. I shall forever welcome every sweet or dreadful condition. I am the dust of Your feet and shall remain inevitably attached only to those feet.

Your and My being is incomparable, immeasurable, inconceivable and indescribable. We experience it, yet cannot explain its mysterious reality. Forever free from every distinction, We are submerged in the rasa-ocean of Our essential nature. We eternally embody separation and union, forever apart and forever joined. The forest of Vrindavana, graceful places of play and the lovely waves of Yamuna's water, trees and creepers, lotuses and birds, mineral pigments of varied and beautiful colors, the Malaya breeze, every stimulus of love and the delightful nectar of the full moon's rays, the flute's sweet river of nectarean rasa, attendants, manjaris and foremost sakhis, the rasa of eternally fresh and charming play and supremely sweet, ever-new pastimes: all are boundless manifestations of the most divine pastime-rasa inherent in Our own nature. Even so, You are My beloved, the supreme worshipful Lord of My life. Although We remain eternally united, You are forever My aim and goal. Attaining You means attaining You through Yourself; I attain You eternally and without limit. This supreme discipline of attaining You will never end.

Your love is extraordinary, Syama! Without cause, compelled by Your naturally delightful disposition, You increased Your affection. My heart was filled with selfishness and forever empty even of the name of love. Blackened and filled with the impurity of desire, it became the place where You came to rest. I knew not even love's first alphabet, much less its primer. Abode of rasa, You came of Your own accord and made Me drink divine love-rasa. Intoxicated, holy love-rasa overflowed, and My life became sweet and an abode of happiness. You Yourself are the eternally beautiful resting place of the fragrant flowers of Your virtues.

Beloved, remain forever attached to My heart, free from every separation. Complete and beloved life of Mine, may I remain eternally dissolved and absorbed within You.

Beloved of My life, if You ever see Me sad even for a moment, You forget all joy and become intensely restless. If for any reason the corners of My eyes fill with tears, You become exceedingly despondent, beloved, and shed limitless tears. If even the shadow of dejection appears upon My face, Your heart immediately begins to pound when You see it, beloved. Seeing a smile upon My face gives You immense happiness. Submerged in bliss, Your mind then loses every ordinary awareness. At every moment, beloved, Your sweet and holy thoughts and all Your self-sacrificing actions seek only to see and make Me happy. My slightest happiness or sorrow gives You immense happiness or sorrow. My mind eternally finds great delight in these holy moods. You gave without limit, continue giving immeasurably and will give forever. You have always endured humiliation and neglect and will endure them forever. I never gave genuine love and considered only My own happiness. For My happiness I made You weep, and sometimes laugh, without keeping count. I could never give You any means of happiness. I wasted My entire life satisfying My own mind and senses. Yet You never knew how to take offense or see a fault. You always regarded My selfish deeds as filled with love. I continually rejected the pure love that brings You happiness, yet still found Your love increasing forever. Within the moving and unmoving world, only You are equal to Yourself; none can compare with You. My supreme good fortune is simply that You regard Me as beloved.

But You, Lord of all and free of everything, abandon all greatness and remain eternally awake in the secluded bower of My heart. Impatient and overwhelmed by separation, You call to Me with all Your life. Remembrance of You alone is My support and the essence of this life's happiness. There is no place for forgetfulness even for a moment, nor ever awareness of another. Body, mind, understanding, senses and every limb are colored in remembrance's hue. Wherever and whenever this body may remain, all are saturated with sweet remembrance. You alone are the delight of My life and its resting place. My sole relationship is with You; every other bond has been severed. Attaining You, conscious bliss, life has become happy and free.
[654]
(Raga Jangala - Tala Kaharava)
The mind eternally desires union; therefore separation feels painful. Yet there is not the slightest desire for My own happiness, so I have no concern. Whether there is meeting or eternal separation, no delusion remains in either state. Only one longing stays awake: may ever-new attachment to You eternally increase. Whether sorrow is immense or happiness vast, may Your happiness make Me blessed. May You forever embody supreme happiness; shade and sunlight are equal to Me. I fear no hell, desire no heaven and never follow the path of liberation. May love's bond remain eternally unbroken, even if distress never releases Me. Nothing is adverse or favorable; Your happiness alone is the root of all happiness. If it gives You joy, Lord of My heart, separation's sorrow will not pain Me in the least. Seeing Your face radiant, not a trace of sorrow will remain. Act according to Your heart, Lord; abandon Me or keep Me near. The terrible burning will feel cool and no sigh will escape My lips. One conviction, filled with experience, remains firm: You are always near Me. Whether visible or hidden, You never disappear from My side. Your smiling face is covered with happiness; this alone is the treasury of My joy. At all times You observe whether I am happy in every condition.

How can I forget wise Syama? Remembrance alone is the Self; remembrance alone is life and breath. One sweet and exclusive remembrance of the beloved remains eternally unbroken within the mind. Living beings, objects and circumstances have all naturally been relinquished. Ever-new beauty and sweetness, ever-new manifestations of form, ever-new love and glory, ever-new rasa dances and play, ever-new affection and ever-fresh moods shine in the mind day and night. The sweet remembrance of ever-new union remains eternally enthroned within the heart.

(Raga Kalingada - Tala Kaharava)
Deluded by My own confusion, I thought You very far away. Yet You always remained near Me, Your heart full of love. I thought You had forgotten Me and ceased to care, yet You continually looked toward Me and never turned Your face away. I thought You did not desire Me in Your heart and did not love Me. Now I understand that You eternally cherish Me with love. I saw You reject Me at every step, but now know that within it lay pure, sweet and intimate honor. Suspicious, I alone regarded You as opposed to Me. Yet My Lord, at every moment You are exceedingly favorable to Me. The illusion has broken, shame has vanished, and I have known Your nature and pure inner heart. Waves of immense bliss now surge within My heart and make My body thrill. Dear Lord, You alone are Your own equal, the enchanting embodiment of love. Incomparable beloved, You never see anyone's faults.

(Raga Nalagunj - Tina Tala)
I was impure, wretched and destitute before, and remain the same today. My ugliness covers Me within and without exactly as before. When have character, beauty, virtue or purity ever existed within Me? Indwelling knower, You know inwardly exactly what I am. I keep wishing only that I might never meet You, even by mistake. All My external and internal actions give You sorrow. You are naturally beautiful and kind, Your heart eternally compassionate at every moment. Your eyes filled with virtue therefore see a treasury of divine qualities everywhere. You are naturally filled with love and, compelled by Your disposition, forever do only love. Therefore You can never see My failings and faults. The burden of sin upon Me is never visible to You. You never tire of giving, and while giving You see no defect. You do not accept this, while I am helpless; what can this weak woman do? Act however You desire, for Your boundless power and understanding are mighty. Yet I have one humble entreaty; please make it fruitful: may I remain forever without pride in virtue, and may no independent ability awaken within Me. Do and cause whatever You desire; may I remain a doll in Your hand. May living, dying, laughing and weeping all become Natavara's pastime. May ego never awaken within Me, nor awareness of the dreadful or beautiful. May I continue dancing according to the desire of the beloved treasure of My life.

(Raga Purvi - Tina Tala)
You are the crown jewel of those ruled by love and sell Yourself into the lover's hands. Seeing pure love, You naturally forget even Your divinity. You are rasa, the source of rasa, a rasika and supreme knower of every rasa. Seeing divine rasa, You naturally forget Your own form as rasa.

Continuation of [658]
You are the supreme treasury and knower of virtues and distribute every virtue. Seeing divine virtue, You offer Yourself wholly to it. When someone abandons everything and sets out toward You with supreme faith, You immediately appear before them so they need not take a single step. Yet I remain eternally without even a particle of love, utterly dry and without rasa. Not one virtue exists within Me; I am full of faults and swollen with vices. I keep My back turned and forever walk away from You. Even so, My degraded condition never troubles Me. Why then are You delighted with Me? Why give Me so much love? Why do You follow behind Me, expanding Your possessive affection? I understand: You are exceedingly innocent, or else supremely generous. Compelled by Your disposition, You eternally see boundless virtues even in the guilty. Without cause You continually give Me so much love and possessive affection. Knowing this, a strange inequality has awakened within fallen Me. Projecting that inequality upon You, I now perceive partiality in You: You love Me from favoritism, something the wise cannot excuse. Therefore proud Me has claimed You as My own. Whether awake or dreaming, I eternally claim authority over You. You alone are the Lord of My life, My everything and sole support, for by Your own virtue You continually give Me so much love.

(Lavani Tune - Tala Kaharava)
Send Me away, reject Me or have Me expelled from Your home, beloved. Torment Me fully, but never forget Me within Your heart. I always desire that You remain united with Me, but if You do not desire this, never meet Me and remain far away; I do not care.

Remain forever happy, beloved; I desire nothing else. Continue giving Me sorrow secretly, without even keeping a witness. Keep Me however You wish, but never forget Me within Your heart. Refrain. I desire no share in happiness or wealth. I do not ask You to heed My opinion, nor do I seek Your attachment. I do not desire honor or even a particle of love. I desire only that You not forget Me and remain happy; this alone is My good fortune. Treat Your own possession however You wish and never hesitate. Refrain. This is immense good fortune: You do not forget Me. Tormenting Me without mercy, You continually make Me weep. Sending messages of sorrow, You forcibly summon Me near. You reject Me, I fall, and then You Yourself lift Me within Your arms. Continue fulfilling My desires for happiness in this way. Refrain. May Your preference be My preference and Your desire My desire. Even if it is wholly adverse to Me, I do not care. Even if My breath is choked, no sigh will leave My lips. You alone are the life of My life and the desire within every desire. My mood will not change, even if You continue changing. Refrain.

(Lavani Tune - Tala Kaharava)
Every good and harmful desire has vanished; only this "beloved desire" remains: may I stay submerged in the sweet ocean of Your remembrance and never find its depth. You alone are everything to Me, the support of all possessive love. I too belong to You alone, while Your possessive love for Me is eternally boundless.

Apart from You I never see anyone else anywhere. You alone eternally perform sweet and enchanting pastimes in every place. I see nothing of My own within Me, neither good nor bad, virtue nor fault. You eternally perform those pastimes through which You find satisfaction. What can I say, and how can I do anything else? Tell Me, beloved Syama, when You alone eternally perform delightful pastimes within and without. Continue forever to enact Your spontaneous pastimes in complete freedom. May every limb, mind, understanding and Self continue giving You joy.
