राम लग्यो जाको ओर न लागे। नवग्रह भूत प्रेत देव दानव उत पित्र यम किंकर भागे॥ कर्म काल कलि क्लेश कुमारग काम क्रोध कोई आवे न आगे॥ १ ॥ चोर चुगुल चिंता छल जादू यंत्र मंत्र जग कबहूँ न लागे। दगा दोष दुर्वाद दूत दुख दंगा दरिद्र दूरते त्यागे॥ २ ॥ ३८ ॥
Fresh English translation
Whoever is held by Rama is touched by nothing else. The nine planets, ghosts, spirits, gods, demons, ancestors, and servants of Yama all flee. Karma, time, the Kali age, affliction, evil paths, lust, and anger cannot approach. Thieves, slander, anxiety, deceit, sorcery, occult devices, and spells never take hold. Treachery, fault, abuse, hostile agents, grief, violence, and poverty abandon such a person from afar.
