जिसको इश्क चेटक लगा उसको जगत नहीं सूझता। फिरते लगनमद घूमते दिल की नहीं कोई बूझता॥ १ ॥ पुरजे प्रीत शमशेर सों मासूक सन्मुख जूझता। कृपानिवास राम को चेरा पानी पूजता॥ २ ॥ २६ ॥
Fresh English translation
The one struck by love's enchantment can no longer perceive the world. Drunk on attachment, such lovers wander and whirl, and no one understands their heart. Cut to pieces by love's sword, the lover still battles face to face with the Beloved. Says Kripanivasa: Rama's servant worships even the water that has touched his feet.
