- The complete twenty-five-kavitt Kavitāvalī in its original order and readings is unavailable; five secondary-study quotation groups do not establish five canonical kavitts.
- The composite section transitions and terminal leaf or colophon are unavailable.
- The 1913 Patna stava witness is later and independent; identity of its readings with the missing 1899 opening is unproved, and it does not attribute the stava to Rāmasakhe.
