Chapter Five — The Eternal Ayodhya
In that eternal realm there is no need for the passage of moon or sun: Sita and Ramachandra themselves are its unsetting light. (73, completed)
Sadā prakāśate ’tyarthaṃ sthalaṃ parama-śobhanam,
Yad dhyātvā nimiṣārdhena rasikā yānti tat-padam. (74)
That supremely beautiful abode shines forever. By meditating upon it with one-pointed love, a devotee of rasa may reach that state in half the blink of an eye.
Ayodhyā dhyāna-gamyā sā sapta-pury-adhikāriṇī,
Bhagavān ādi-puruṣo ramate yatra cādyayā. (75)
That Ayodhya, sovereign among the seven sacred cities, is reached through contemplation. There the Blessed Lord, the primordial Person, eternally delights with the primordial Goddess.
Āhlādinī śakti-rūpā Jānakī yasya vāmataḥ,
Taṃ Rāmaṃ sac-cid-ānandaṃ nityaṃ Rāseśvaraṃ bhaje. (76)
I eternally worship Rama, the Lord of the rāsa and embodiment of being, consciousness, and bliss, at whose left stands Janaki as the very form of his delight-bestowing power.
