Passage 1
Śrī Agni said: “Sovereign of Pramoda forest, beyond the radiance of your toenails the brilliance of countless suns is forever dimmed. Yet if even one wave from the ocean of your compassion moves toward him, one whose life is nearly spent shines like the sun.
Passage 2
Mother, the splendor I have received from the light of your toenails regards even sovereignty over the three worlds as a mere atom. All the brilliance seen filling the entire world becomes only infinitesimal when your form is beheld.
Passage 3
The sun, the luster of gold, pearls, rubies, diamonds, and gems, the massed radiance of the moon's digits, and golden rays—whatever light is celestial, earthly, or born from a hand here in the world, I regard all of it as arising only from a portion of my body.
Passage 4
Yet the measure of light in me arises from the diffusion of your bodily radiance. Mother, what praise can this much offer to your splendors? Dearest of the Supreme Person's very life, you manifest the highest fullness of divine arts; whatever possesses true power is strengthened by your own being.
Passage 5
Ah, Sītā, amid such vast majesty you triumph at the supremely exalted, crown-anointed summit of all those lights. Even then no pride at all is seen in your heart, surely because no multitude whatsoever could become your rival.
Passage 6
Absorbed in play within the embrace of the pleasure grove, you are the ultimate boundary of the path of love for the Supreme Person and the vessel of grace shared by all. In a single portion of love, please accept this supreme offering at your two glorious lotus feet, which Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Śiva, Śrī, Śeṣa, Indra, and the other gods can only worship.
Passage 7
O embodiment of the rasa of divine play, your highest goal is the inward splendor of Pramoda forest, whose being is joined to the rapture of union. Worshiped by gods devoted to Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Śiva, and the rest, it is naturally sweet in form and takes the shape of a flowing stream of nectar.
Passage 8
Joined with the moonlike Rāma, jewel among connoisseurs, you shine openly in Pramoda forest, skillfully dressed as a cowherd maiden. Your sweet form is made of the moonlight of millions of rising lunar digits, and with your own companions you are immersed in the great ocean of the bliss of your native rasa.
Passage 9
Your beloved is declared in śruti to be Śrī Rāmacandra, while you in turn are heard of as Śrī, the ground of his manifestation, and as Māyā. While you remain as Māyā, even a person of sound understanding is not liberated; liberation comes only when knowledge whose object is the Lord arises.

Homage to Rāma, united with the power Mahācidanandinī; abounding in immeasurable play that creates, sustains, and withdraws the universe; the sole connoisseur among the greatly blessed; sporting in Pramoda forest; whose essential form is the object of love in the eternal, unbounded play made of his own bliss and wonder within the dwelling of Pramoda forest.

And homage to you, Sītā: his sole companion in divine play; the one foundation of the bliss of Brahman; a river of the nectar of union; a garland of flame in whom separation's fire consumes every feeling directed elsewhere; a connoisseur of the passion blazing in the flames of the fire of mahābhāva; sovereign of the cowherd maidens; daughter of King Janaka and there the daughter of Śrī Nanda; a necklace of jewels around the single great sun born from Śrī Rājinī's womb; the sole vessel of love for the son of the blessed lord of the cows; whose lovely form is cherished by Śrī Māṅgalyakāla; surrounded by your own people whom unrestricted grace has made its vessels; who, by revealing the form of the Supreme Woman, manifests the whole succession of human goals; and who is cool with the liquid essence of nectar.
