Chapter context and opening material

Kamaleśvarī recounts her path to Sahajā's companionship. As the boy Saṅgava, she heard ancient sages teach that Rāma alone is the Brahman established in all Vedic revelation. Love drove her beyond ordinary social consciousness; after death she was born as Mount Mandara's daughter and beheld Sītā and Rāma hunting together. Rāma explained their eternal unity and disappeared. Nārada later taught her a fifteen-day Sītā-Rāma vow. Its completion granted her a divine body, entrance into their līlā, and the companion-form Kamalā. Saṅgava Hears the Ancient Rāma Scriptures
