Witness control note Chapter 142 begins below the Chapter 141 colophon on source leaf 1043 and ends above the Chapter 143 heading on source leaf 1064 (physical PDF pages 1044–1065). The witness prints passages 1–112, repeats printed marker 112 for the next independent unit, and then continues 113–281. The second printed 112 is registered editorially as passage 113, so all subsequent editorial passage numbers are one greater than their printed markers. A separate unnumbered two-line verse follows printed passage 281 immediately before the colophon; it is registered editorially as passage 283. The complete chapter therefore contains 283 independent units. All twenty-two scan pages were reviewed directly, and the English is a fresh translation from the scan-controlled Sanskrit.
