The edition prints passages 1–113 and then one independent two-line Sukaṇṭha passage without a number immediately before the colophon. That final unit is registered editorially as passage 114, so the chapter contains 114 independent presented passages. Chapter 126 begins on the following physical page. All nine source pages were reviewed directly against the scan in batches of no more than two rendered pages, and the English is a fresh translation from the scan-controlled Sanskrit. The edition’s note after Chapter 124 passage 74 states that the Ayodhyā manuscript remains defective through the end of the Pūrva-khaṇḍa. Readings in this chapter therefore retain the printed witness while the English resolves only what the immediate syntax and narrative securely support.
