Thus ends Chapter Ninety-three, called “An explanation of valor,” in the account of the six divine excellences in the Pūrva-khaṇḍa of the dialogue of Brahmā and Bhuśuṇḍi in the glorious Ādi Rāmāyaṇa. Source note This chapter is transcribed directly from printed pages 388–393 of the 1975 Pūrva-khaṇḍa witness (source leaves 519–524). The scan controls the text. The edition moves directly from printed 35 to 37; passage 36 is represented as an explicit lacuna rather than invented. It prints both the wilderness passage and the name-of-Rāma passage as 62, then resumes at 64; the second printed 62 is registered as passage 63. Verse 27 is a genuine one-line numbered transition. The chapter’s claims about Paraśurāma, Hanumān, the divine weapons, and Rāvaṇa’s captives are translated as the edition presents them.
