Textual notes The chapter begins on source leaf 409 immediately after Chapter 62’s colophon, occupies leaves 409–411, and ends with its colophon on physical PDF page 412. All twenty-nine numbered passages were transcribed directly from the 1975 scan; archive OCR was used only as a locating and typing aid. The edition presents a clean numerical sequence from 1 through 29. Passages 1, 2, 21, and 29 are extended metrical units retained under their single printed numbers. In passage 2 the scan itself places a parenthetic editorial uncertainty around the beginning of वातैः; the secure word has been supplied in the continuous text. The difficult main readings किञ्चिद्धिससमुद्भेद (4), गन्धर्वरूपवीणितः (13), and सभास्तारा (17) are preserved rather than silently replaced. For passage 17 the edition’s apparatus gives the secure variant समस्तास्ते, which governs the English sense.
