Textual notes The chapter begins on source leaf 403 after Chapter 60’s colophon, occupies leaves 403–406, and ends with its colophon on physical PDF page 407. Every root line was transcribed directly from the 1975 scan; archive OCR was used only as a locating and typing aid. The edition contains thirty-one passages in a clean numerical sequence. Passages 18, 24, and 31 contain extended printed units under single source numbers and are retained as such. The difficult main-text strings in passages 14 (रामकृष्णानाम्, whose isolated genitive is not used to manufacture an additional claim in English), 19 (साधयानि), 21 (करिष्यासि despite Daśaratha’s first-person context), and 31 (निषङ्गोग्रा धृतासयः) are preserved rather than silently regularized; the secure contextual sense is given in English. The edition’s printed apparatus records alternative readings for several of these places, while the main text remains the base here.
