Textual notes The chapter begins on source leaf 398, occupies leaves 398–403, and ends with its colophon on physical PDF page 404. Every root line was transcribed directly from the 1975 scan; archive OCR was used only as a locating and typing aid. The edition contains fifty-nine passages in a clean numerical sequence. Its extended praise stanzas remain under their single printed numbers, including passages 19, 21, 22, 31, 35, 38, 43, and 51. The difficult main-text strings in passages 2 (मदात्मना), 12 (पुरुषोत्तम सन्तते), 21 (किंच त्रिपादमृतमूर्ध्वमुदैद्वरिष्ठम्), 48 (विहिलिष्टो), 54 (सरामोऽप्यपृथक्पृथक्), and 58 (पत्युरवतेः) are preserved rather than silently regularized; their secure contextual sense is rendered in English. The printed apparatus records alternate readings for a number of lines, but the edition’s main text remains the base here.
