Textual notes The chapter occupies source leaves 386–390 and ends with its colophon on physical PDF page 391. Every root line was transcribed directly from the 1975 scan; archive OCR was used only as a locating and typing aid. The edition contains fifty-three actual passages in a clean numerical sequence. Passage 53 consists of a single printed line and remains one passage. Proper names are transliterated rather than semantically replaced in English. Difficult or nonstandard transmitted strings—including हेमपदाविताः in passage 4, मञ्जुलाल्य in passage 25, and समासाभा in passage 31—are preserved; the apparatus records variant readings for several names but does not justify silently substituting them into the base text.
