Textual note The photographed edition moves from verse 40 to verse 42. Its intervening half-verse is retained as editorial verse 41 so no source text disappears and the transmitted sequence through 44 remains explicit. In verse 42 the base prints first-person namāmi but itself proposes third-person nanāma; the latter is adopted because it agrees with the stated subject, Māruti. Verse 24 is translated conservatively because the unusual atyāhitam permits more than one nuance; no doctrinal claim is built upon that uncertain expression.
