…सिन्धु बन्धुजी! श्रीमहाराजाधिराज पिताजी के दरबार-दर्शन की बेला भई।’ सो सुनि श्रीप्रभुजी ने कहा कि ‘चलना चाहिये। हे श्रीनिमिराजकिशोरीजी! आप श्रीअम्बावर्गों के अभिवन्दन को जाओ।’ ऐसा श्रीप्राणनाथजी का अनुशासन सुनि समाजसहित अन्तःपुरभवन में जाय श्रीमाण्डवीजी, श्रीऊर्मिलाजी, श्रीश्रुतिकीर्तिजी आदिकों से मिल के और उन्हें सङ्ग लिवाय पालकिन पर चढ़ि श्रीबड़ी अम्बासाहब के समीप में जाय पदपङ्कज-अभिवन्दन कर अभिमत आशीष पाय गोद में बैठती भईं। पुनि आज्ञा पाय श्रीकैकेयी अम्बा, श्रीसुमित्रा अम्बा आदिकों के महलों में जाय अभिवन्दन करि वात्सल्यसुख सरसाय, पुनि श्रीबड़ी अम्बा श्रीकौशल्या देवीजी के महल में आय बिराजीं। और यहाँ श्रीलखनलालजी की आज्ञा पाय के सिंहद्वार पर यह चतुरङ्गिणी सेना, नर्मप्रिय सुहृद सखा सलोने, तथा श्रीसुमुखजी, श्रीसुमतिजी, श्रीसुलोचनजी, श्रीसुमानसजी—ये चारों श्रीसुमन्तसुत—श्रीमहाराजकुमारों के चारों रथ उपस्थित करते भये। श्रीप्रभुजी श्रीसिंहासन से उठ के समाजसहित मन्द-मन्द पधारे। श्रीरामानुरागाभक्तिजी पुरुषवेष करिके छत्र लेती भईं और सख्यसेवासुखस्वादी जन चँवर लिये; दूसरा चँवर श्रीचारुशीलमणिजी लेते भये। इसी प्रकार सब सखा-दासवर्ग व्यजन, पानदान, अतरदान, पीकदान, जलझारी, जलपानसामग्री इत्यादिक अपनी-अपनी सेवा लैके सुखसंयुक्त चलते भये। श्रीअयोध्याधिपराजेन्द्रकिशोरजी सानुज सिंहद्वार पर आये। सब कोई प्रणाम-जोहार किये। चारों भाई यथोचित ग्रहण करि के रथों पर सवार हो के सहितसमाज श्रीचक्रवर्ती जू महाराज के समीप आये। रथों से उतर के चारों भाई आय के प्रणाम किये। श्रीमहाराजजी हृदय में लगाय के शिर आघ्राण—सूँघि—करिके, दक्षिण भुजा के समीप श्रीरामभद्रजी और लक्ष्मणजी को, वाम भुजा…

‘…my brother, it is time to attend the court of our father, the emperor.’ The Lord replies, ‘We should go. Princess of Nimi’s house, you should visit and salute the mothers.’ Hearing her beloved’s direction, Sītā goes with her retinue into the inner palace. She meets Māṇḍavī, Ūrmilā, Śrutakīrti, and the others, takes them with her, mounts a palanquin, and approaches the senior queen. She bows at Kausalyā’s lotus feet, receives the desired blessing, and sits in her lap. With permission she visits the palaces of mother Kaikeyī, mother Sumitrā, and the others, bows, and delights in maternal affection, then returns to the palace of the senior mother, Kausalyā Devī. Meanwhile, on Lakṣmaṇa’s order, the fourfold army and the handsome, tenderly loving friends assemble at the lion gate. Sumukha, Sumati, Sulocana, and Sumānasa—the four sons of Sumantra—bring the four princes’ chariots. The Lord rises from the throne and advances gently with the assembly. Bhakti, whose love is fixed on Rāma, assumes male dress and carries the parasol. One servant who savours intimate service bears a fly-whisk; Cāruśīlamaṇi carries the other. Friends and servants follow joyfully with hand-fans, betel box, perfume box, spittoon, water ewer, refreshments, and every other article of their respective services. The youthful sovereign of Ayodhyā and his brothers reach the lion gate. Everyone bows and offers salutations. The four brothers acknowledge them appropriately, mount their chariots with the assembly, and go before the emperor. They descend and bow. The king embraces them, smells the crowns of their heads in affection, seats Rāmabhadra and Lakṣmaṇa near his right arm and Bharata and Śatrughna near his left…
