…गुलाबजामुन, फेनी, बतासफेनी इत्यादिक अनेक पकवान-मिठाई; खीर, मलाई, दधि, ओदन, सिखरन इत्यादिक षट्रस चारि भाँति छप्पन प्रकार के भोजनों में जो-जो अपने को प्रिय होय सो सब ध्यान-भावना करै। और अति प्रेमाभिलाष होय तो मूलमन्त्र उच्चारण करते अपने हाथ से पवावै भी, तथा श्रीस्वामिनीजी को भक्तिजू के हाथ से पवावना ध्यान करै। बीच में और अन्त में सुगन्धित सरयूजल पान करावे। तदनन्तर भक्ति-सहचरीवर्ग प्रसादी थाल उठाय के अन्यत्र धर, रूपे-चाँदी के कोपरों में उशीर-खस धर के श्रीरघुवर-स्वामिनीजी के आगे धर देती भईं। तिन्हीं पात्रों में झारी से जल दे के भक्ति-भक्त ने अँचवन कराय, मुख-हस्त पोंछने को वस्त्र अर्पण किया। इसी भाँति भक्ति-किंकरीवर्गों ने सब समाज को आचमन कराया। आगे की भूमि का उच्छिष्ट झार के शुद्ध कर देती भईं। तब भक्तजन दिव्य ताम्बूल श्रीयुगल प्रभुन को खवाय के और कंचन के थार में बीरा भर के श्रीसीतारामजी के आगे धर दिया। तब श्रीरघुवंशशिरोमणिजी दो-दो बीरा श्रीभरतलालजी, श्रीलखनलालजी, श्रीशत्रुघ्नलालजी, श्रीहनुमत-चारुशीलमणिलाल आदि को देते भये। ते दोनों हाथों से लै के माथ में लगाय खाते भये। तदुपरि श्रीसीतारामचन्द्रजी सहित समाज सभा में आ के श्रीरत्नसिंहासन पर विराजे। श्रीभक्तिजू ने श्रीरघुनाथजी के हाथ में धनुर्बाण धारण कराया। श्रीलक्ष्मणजी दिव्य श्वेत छत्र लेते भये। श्रीभरतजी दक्षिण दिशि, श्रीशत्रुघ्नजी वाम दिशि युगल श्वेत चामर चलाने लगे। श्रीहनुमानजी श्रीभरतलालजी के समीप में खड़े हो के व्यजन बीजने लगे। श्रीभक्ति चारुशीलाजू श्रीशत्रुघ्नजी के निकट में स्थित हो के दूसरा पंखा करने लगीं और सखा-सखी…

…gulāb-jāmun, fenī, sugar-fenī, and innumerable other pastries and sweets; rice pudding, cream, curd, seasoned rice, śikharin, and every other preparation containing the six tastes—four varieties and fifty-six dishes in all. The practitioner should visualize whichever foods are personally dear. If love’s longing becomes intense, recite the root mantra and feed the Lord with your own hand; contemplate Śrī Bhakti feeding the Mistress. Offer fragrant Sarayū water during and after the meal. Bhakti’s companions then remove the prasāda trays and set them elsewhere. They place vessels of shaped silver holding fragrant vetiver before Raghubara and the Mistress. Bhakti and the devotee pour water into those vessels from a ewer, help the Pair rinse, and offer cloths for wiping mouths and hands. Bhakti’s maidservants help the entire assembly rinse in the same way, sweep away the remnants, and purify the ground before them. The devotee gives divine betel to the Pair and sets a golden tray filled with prepared rolls before them. The crown of Raghu’s line gives two rolls each to Bharata, Lakṣmaṇa, Śatrughna, Hanumān, lovely-natured Maṇilāla, and the others. They receive them in both hands, touch them to their foreheads, and eat. Sītā and Rāma return with the assembly to the hall and sit on the jeweled throne. Śrī Bhakti places bow and arrows in Raghunātha’s hand. Lakṣmaṇa holds the divine white parasol; Bharata to the right and Śatrughna to the left wave twin white fly-whisks.
