…समीप में आय के पदपङ्कजों में पुष्पाञ्जलि अर्पण करि, नयनों से प्रणामरूप पूजन करि, सङ्ग में वामभाग विराज गईं। उसी अवसर में प्रतिहारी आय कर जोरि के श्रीभरतलाल आदिकों का आगमन निवेदन किया। सुनि के श्रीरघुनन्दनजी बोले, ‘हे प्रीतिपुञ्जे! श्रीभरतादिक बन्धु आये हैं।’ श्रीभक्तिजू कहती भईं, ‘हे प्राणवल्लभजी! परम मङ्गल हुआ,’ और द्वारदेश में जाय सादर लिवाय लाईं। सब कोई आय पूर्वपरिचय-क्रम से श्रीदिव्यदम्पतीजी के पदपङ्कजों में शिर-स्पर्शपूर्वक प्रणाम करि-करि युगल करकमल-स्पर्श पाय-पाय, प्रभु की आज्ञानुसार निज-निज पदप्रक्षालन कराय सुवर्ण के आसनों पर यथोचित बैठ गये। अर्थात् श्रीप्रभु के दक्षिण श्रीभरतजी, पुनि श्रीलक्ष्मणजी, पुनि श्रीशत्रुघ्नजी तथा समस्त सखावर्ग; और श्रीयुगलकृपालूजी के वामदिशि श्रीहनुमानजी आदिक प्रियदास-सखा तथा सखीवर्ग सब यथोचित विराज गये। तब सेवानुरागी श्रीभरतादि भ्राताओं को शिर से चरणस्पर्शयुत प्रणाम किया और दिव्य चन्दन की चौकियाँ श्रीसीतारामजी के तथा श्रीभरतादिकों के आगे धर दिया। तदुपरि दिव्य अमृतमय भोजनपदार्थों से भरे भये थार श्रीस्वामी-स्वामिनीजी के आगे चौकियों पर धर दिया और सर्व समाज के अग्रभाग में श्रीभक्तिजी की किंकरीवर्ग सब भोजनवस्तु थारों में धर देती भईं। तब सेवाभिलाषी जन दिव्य दूध की पायस-खीर षट् सुवर्ण के कटोरों में कर के एक थार में धर के श्रीराघवेन्द्रजी के आगे धर दिया; तथा श्रीभक्तिजू श्रीसरयूजल लघु-दीर्घ दो-दो पात्रों में भरि के सब के आगे धर देती भईं। सुजन ने प्रथम की नाईं धूप-दीपादि करि के प्रार्थना की, कि ‘हे भावग्राहक भरतबन्धो! इस बालक से कुछ बनता नहीं; आप अपनी कृपालुता से निज…’

…and, on reaching him, offers flowers at his lotus feet, worships him with a reverent gaze, and sits at his left. A door-keeper then comes with folded hands and announces Bharata and the others. Raghunandana says, ‘O treasury of love, our brothers Bharata and the others have arrived.’ Śrī Bhakti replies, ‘Beloved of my life, this is supremely auspicious,’ goes to the doorway, and respectfully escorts them in. Following the earlier order of greeting, each places the head at the divine Couple’s lotus feet, bows, and receives the touch of their lotus hands. At the Lord’s command they have their feet washed and take suitable golden seats: Bharata at the Lord’s right, then Lakṣmaṇa, Śatrughna, and all the friends; to the gracious Pair’s left sit Hanumān and the other beloved servants and friends, together with the women companions. The practitioner devoted to service bows to Bharata and the brothers from head to foot, then places divine sandalwood stools before Sītā–Rāma and before Bharata and the others. Trays filled with divine, nectar-like foods are set on stools before the Lord and Mistress; Śrī Bhakti’s maidservants place trays of every dish before the entire assembly. The servant eager for service fills six golden bowls with divine milk pudding, sets them on one tray, and places it before Rāghavendra. Śrī Bhakti sets two vessels, one small and one large, filled with Sarayū water before each diner. As during the first worship, the good servant offers incense and lamps and prays, ‘O Bharata’s brother, knower of inward feeling, this child can accomplish nothing.
