भक्तजन श्रीचरणकमलों को धोय श्रीपदाङ्गुष्ठों को लोचनों में लगाय प्रेम से पोंछकर परमानन्द पाया। पुनि श्रीकरकञ्जों को धुवाय के गिलास में जल देकर आचमन-कुल्ला कराय के तब जामुन आदिक उत्तम काष्ठ की बारह अङ्गुल की दन्तधावन प्रभाती अर्पण किया। फिर इसी रीति से श्रीस्वामिनीजी के श्रीचरणसरोजों को धोय के नेत्रों में लगाय, प्रोक्षण कर, हस्त धोवाय, कुल्ला कराके दन्तधावन अर्पण किया। इसके आगे श्रीस्वामिनीजी की सब सेवा श्रीभक्ति भाग्यवतीजी करती हैं और श्रीरघुवरजी की सब सेवा पूजन-जन स्वयं करता है। सुवर्णपात्र से सुगन्धियुक्त श्रीसरयूजल प्रदानपूर्वक दन्तधावन कराय, श्रीमुखचन्द्र धोवाय के, भीने वस्त्र से सुखमासिन्धु को श्रीसुख-प्रोक्षण किया। पुनि गजदन्त की ककही से बालों को सम्हारि, माङ्गलिक चन्दन लगाय के, मङ्गलमय कण्ठा, कड़े, बिजायठ, मणिमाला, कुण्डल, नूपुर, तोड़े आदिक भूषण धारण कराय; यथाकाल अनुकूल वस्त्र धारण कराय; मुख्य किरीट अथवा ताज या पाग, शिरपेंच निजरुचि अनुकूल धारण कराय के; माङ्गलिक तुलसीयुत सुगन्ध फूलों की माला पहिराय के शोभा अवलोकन करि कृतार्थ भया। ऐसे ही श्रीभक्ति चारुशीलाजी श्रीसिया स्वामिनीजी की मङ्गल सेवा सप्रेम करती भईं। तब दिव्य धूप अर्पण कर नव बार आघ्राण कराय के समीप में धर दिया। तदुपरि चार बत्ती का दीप नव बार फिराय के धर दिया। तब मङ्गलभोग अर्पण करता भया। गोघृत, गोदधि, मधु, मिश्री—ये चारों वस्तु मिलाय युगल मणिपात्रों में सखि ल्याई। एक श्रीभक्तिजू कैङ्कर्य-निपुण जन को देती भईं, सो वामहस्त में धरके सुवर्ण करकमल से दक्षिण हस्त से श्रीरामचन्द्रजी को खवाने लगीं। ऐसे ही दूसरे पात्र का मङ्गलभोग श्रीभक्तिजी ने श्रीस्वामिनीजी को…

The devotee washes the Lord’s lotus feet, touches the great toes to the eyes, dries them lovingly, and tastes supreme bliss. The Lord’s lotus hands are washed; he is given water in a glass for sipping and rinsing; then a twelve-finger-long morning tooth-stick cut from fine jambu or similar wood is offered. In the same way the Mistress’s lotus feet are washed and touched to the eyes; they are dried, her hands are washed, she rinses her mouth, and a tooth-stick is offered. From this point fortunate Śrī Bhakti performs all the Mistress’s service, while the worshipping servant personally performs every service for Raghubara. Fragrant Sarayū water is offered from a golden vessel. After the tooth-cleaning, the moonlike face is washed and the ocean of beauty is gently dried with a damp cloth. The hair is arranged with an ivory comb; auspicious sandal paste is applied; necklaces, bracelets, a jeweled chest ornament, gem garlands, earrings, anklets, toe-rings, and other ornaments are put on. Clothing suited to the season is offered, together with whichever chief headpiece accords with the servant’s taste—a crown, jeweled cap, turban, or crest. A fragrant flower garland containing tulasī is placed around the neck, and the servant becomes fulfilled by beholding the splendour. In just this manner lovely Śrī Bhakti lovingly performs the Mistress Sītā’s auspicious service. Divine incense is offered for the Pair to inhale nine times and then set nearby. A four-wicked lamp is circled nine times and placed down. Now the auspicious light meal is offered. A companion brings two jeweled bowls, each containing cow’s ghee, cow’s curd, honey, and sugar-candy mixed together. Śrī Bhakti gives one to the attendant skilled in service, who supports it in the left hand and, with the golden lotus of the right hand, begins to feed Śrī Rāmacandra.
