श्रीसम्प्रदाय श्रीयदाचार्य गुरुमुख से श्रीरामषडक्षर मन्त्रराज द्वयमन्त्र और अष्टाक्षर शरणागति मन्त्र तथा श्रीरामाभय प्रदान चरम मन्त्र—ये तीनों रहस्यों से संयुक्त श्रीजानकी षडक्षर मन्त्र और श्रीभरत, श्रीलक्ष्मण, श्रीशत्रुघ्न, श्रीहनुमान, श्रीगुरुमन्त्रों को प्राप्त भया सपरिवार श्रीसीतारामोपासक अधिकारी प्रभात पिछले पहर में श्रीसीताराम नाम-रूप स्मरण करते जागे। और कर-मुख-पद धोय शुद्ध हो आसन पर सावधानी से बैठ के श्रीगुरुपरम्परा का पाठ कर श्रीमदाचार्य गुरुदेव का ध्यानपूर्वक साष्टाङ्ग प्रणाम करें। और पूजन करि आज्ञा लेके मन ही से श्रीसरयूजी में जाय प्रणाम करिके पाँच गोता लगावे और दिव्य दृष्टि से ऐसा देखे कि यह मेरा मायिक शरीर छूट गया और भावनामय दिव्य देह हो गई। तब श्रीअवध का दर्शन करते चले; दिव्य कांचन-मणिमय द्वार, कोट, भवन, बाजार देखते श्रीसीताराम शयन-भवन में जाय। तिस सुवर्ण शाला के आगे श्रीरामभक्तिजू का दर्शन करे, अर्थात् श्रद्धा, क्षमा, दया, शान्ति, नम्रता, प्रीति, श्रीहरि-गुरु-साधु-सेवा आदि दिव्य अङ्गों से युक्त, श्रीसीतारामपरा प्रीतिरूपा दिव्यमूर्तिमती कोमलासन पर विराजी भई; और श्रीसीताराम सेवा-सामग्री—मङ्गल वस्तु, पुष्पमाला, मञ्जरीयुत तुलसी, दधि, दिव्य फल, जवादिकों के अङ्कुर इत्यादि—थारों में भरे लिये अनेक सखियाँ समीप में सोहती हैं। जाय के तिनें प्रणाम करे, चन्दन-माला आदि चढ़ाय के चरणों में मस्तक धर के बैठ जाय। तब श्रीभक्तिजू मस्तक पर हस्त धरिके पुत्रवत् प्यार करती हैं। और साधक को आगे करि सखिन सहित शयनशाला के द्वार पर जाय के सप्रीति प्रार्थना करने लगीं। सवैया— कंज खिले रसरङ्गमणि जस भृङ्ग भने प्रभु जयति उचारे।
Fresh English translation
The qualified worshipper of Sītā and Rāma with their whole family has received from the teacher’s mouth the Śrī tradition’s mysteries: the royal six-syllabled Rāma mantra and the paired mantra, the eight-syllabled mantra of surrender, the final mantra that grants Rāma’s fearlessness, together with Jānakī’s six-syllabled mantra and the mantras of Bharata, Lakṣmaṇa, Śatrughna, Hanumān, and the guru. In the last watch before dawn, that worshipper awakens remembering Sītā–Rāma’s name and form. After washing hands, face, and feet and becoming pure, sit attentively on the seat. Recite the guru lineage, meditate on the venerable teacher, and prostrate fully. Worship, receive permission, and inwardly go to holy Sarayū. Bow and immerse yourself five times. With divine sight, see the material body fall away and a divine body made of contemplation arise. Walk through sacred Ayodhyā, beholding its divine golden, jeweled gates, fortifications, mansions, and markets, until you enter Sītā–Rāma’s sleeping palace. Before its golden chamber behold Śrī Rāmabhakti personified: love wholly directed to Sītā–Rāma, enthroned on a soft seat and embodied with the divine limbs of faith, forgiveness, compassion, peace, humility, affection, and service to Hari, guru, and saint. Around her shine many companions holding trays filled with the materials of service—auspicious objects, flower garlands, sprig-bearing tulasī, curd, divine fruits, barley shoots, and more. Bow to her, offer sandal paste and garlands, place your head at her feet, and sit. Śrī Bhakti places a hand upon your head and loves you as her child. Setting the practitioner before her, she goes with the companions to the door of the sleeping chamber and lovingly begins her entreaty: ‘The lotuses have opened; Rasarangamaṇi says that the bees of fame proclaim the Lord’s victory…’
