Verse 42

पुनि मातु विविधि मिठाइ मेवा मगद बहु पकवान। सानि सुगंध अनेक बिधि भारक पठायें जान॥ सो रजनि खेल बिहार बीतौ भवन भोर प्रवेश। कियो सिय रघुनंद जननी दान दिय धन देस ४२॥

Then the mother sends many varieties of sweets, fruits, magad gram-flour laddus, and cooked dishes, perfumed in many ways and dispatched by the load. That night passes in play and delight; at dawn Sita and Raghunandana enter the palace, and the mothers bestow gifts of wealth and lands. (42)
