नाचत अलीगन तान मान मृदंग पद करताल। सम धुनी सुनि मुनि ध्यान विसरै अति मगन मनलाल॥ याहि भांति झूले कला कोटिन रूप प्रियाकी जान। सिंगार खेल उदार शोभा चले जानकि जान ३५॥
The companions dance to melody and measure, mridanga, foot-beat, and hand-cymbals. Hearing the harmonious sound, even sages forget meditation, while the beloved’s mind is utterly absorbed. Thus the beloved, embodiment of countless arts, swings; in the generous splendor of the adornment-play moves the very life of Janaki. (35)
